Most Peace Region residents want to see regularly scheduled passenger service return to the Peace River Regional Airport.

That’s according to 77 percent out of 171 voters for the Trending 55 Newsroom’s Poll of the Week.

The Town of Peace River is currently looking at options for the airport and even having a referendum on the airport’s future.

Scheduled flights between the airport and Edmonton were halted by Northern Air on January 1.

This week’s question is about local hockey.

During its peak, the North Peace Hockey League had a total of 12 teams.

Today, only five remain and we want to know: Would you like to see the NPHL back in your community, to does it not matter to you?

Have your say by clicking the link on the Trending 55 Facebook page.
