The Peace Motocross Association tore up the dirt this past weekend in Peace River!
Riders from all over Northern British Columbia and Alberta took to the track for a jam-packed day of motocross racing.
There were bikes of all different classes competing for the top prize at the end of the day. From the young-ins racing 50CC bikes to the Master Veterans, there was something for all racers of all ages at the dirt track.
In the MX3 Intermediate class, it was Peace River’s very own Trentyn Calloway who walked away with the grand prize. In his class, Calloway finished the race a full 12 and a quarter seconds ahead of second place Seth Pleice. Trentyn’s best lap was nearly a full three seconds quicker than Seth’s. Way to go, Trentyn!
Trentyn currently sits first overall in his class at 304 championship points. Calloway sits comfortably having built a great 105 point gap ahead of second place Jason Berlinger.
The next round on the circuit’s calendar will be held in Beaverlodge on August 11th, 2019. More information can be found here.
PS, a special thanks must be given to all event sponsors, organizers, parents, family member, spectators for such a great turnout and for helping put on such a great show. Your hard work is greatly appreciated!
