Peace Pipeline Expansion

Pembina Pipeline Corporation announced yesterday that its approved an additional expansion of its Peace Pipeline system. This will be said to accommodate growing customer demand in the region by reducing constraints and accessing downstream capacity. the phase 8 expansion is expected to cost $500 million and will begin construction in 2020, lasting until the first half of 2022 if environmental approvals work out. Pembina’s looks to achieve a market delivery capacity of 1.3 million barrels per day across the Peace and Northern Pipelines.
