BROWNVALE — Two residents of Brownvale are now facing multiple charges after a Peace Regional RCMP investigation would discover a collection of stolen vehicles.
Back on May 24th, Peace Regional along with Fairview RCMP entered into a stolen vehicle investigation, which would lead police to a residential property in the rural Brownvale.
RCMP would then execute a search warrant upon their arrival, leading to the recovery of multiple vehicles that had been stolen from throughout the Peace Region, including a pick-up truck, a minivan and several snowmobiles.
As a result of the RCMP investigation, 59-year-old Donald Barry Lawrence and 41-year-old Colleen Marie Giroux of Brownvale have been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Both suspects have been released from custody, and are now scheduled to appear in Peace River provincial court on June 24th.
