The accident took place in the early hours of the morning last Thursday and claimed the life of one person. The three other people in the car sustained minor injuries.
Sergeant Mark Hall had the following to say about the incident:
“There was a single vehicle rollover on highway 49 at the construction zone, just south of Donnelly Corner, and there were four people in the vehicle,” Hall explained, “one of the [people involved] did succumb to their injuries…there was some injuries to the driver and the other two occupants had no major injuries”
At this moment the Peace River Traffic Reconstruction is conducting their investigation. The RCMP will update the situation once that investigation is complete.
