RCMP identify the remains found near Slave Lake in October 2018

The RCMP now knows the identity of remains found in Slave Lake. With the use of dental records, police confirmed the remains are of Calgary resident Bradley Shaw. Shaw was reported missing in September of 2015 and was 27-years-old at the time of his disappearance.

Slave Lake Mounties reported the discovery of the remains on October 6, 2018 just outside the town in a rural area. The RCMP is looking into Shaw’s death and treating it as an active homicide investigation. The police will not comment on the cause of death.
