Residents expect the pandemic to continue beyond three months

People in the Peace and Mackenzie regions are not optimistic the COVID-19 pandemic will be over in the next three months.

Around 58 percent of respondents to the Trending 55 Poll of the Week expect this situation to continue well into June.

In all, 83 people voted.

On a televised address to the province, Premier Jason Kenney stated that the public health guidelines put in place by Alberta Health Services will likely be in place until the end of May.

This week, the Trending 55 Newsroom wants to know about how you are coping without televised sports.

April is when the playoffs start for the NHL; the Major League Baseball season would be just underway; the NBA would be in their stretch drive, and plus horse racing, NASCAR and F1.
