The Town of Peace River has announced drivers will be experiencing some traffic disruptions this week.
One of the disruptions is due to bridge construction. Crews are pouring concrete for the second pier which is expected to take about 35 hours. The Town says the delays aren’t expected to be as severe as during the pouring of the first pier as trucks won’t need to line up along the road. The work is expected to wrap up around 7 p.m. tomorrow.
The other disruption is along 94 Street because of water line repair. Crews will close a section of 94 Street at 9 a.m. tomorrow between 90 Avenue and 91 Avenue. The section will be closed in both directions all day tomorrow and it’s expected to reopen Thursday afternoon.
