Trending 55 Poll of the Week results

The results are in for the latest Trending 55 Poll of the Week. Mackenzie County Reeve, Josh Knelson, suggested that prison budgets should be slashed by 50 percent to help municipalities deal with the increased cost of policing. We asked you if you agree, or disagree, with that suggestion.

156 of you cast votes and 64 percent of respondents agree with the cutting of prison budgets. Phillip Krahn commented and said that he absolutely agrees, and that if law abiding citizens can sustain themselves, then so can criminals.
