Updated Airport Fact Sheet to Release Next Week

The Town of Peace River will be releasing its updated fact sheet on the leasing operations of the Peace River Regional Airport. The town released it’s first fact sheet on their website last month, with a feedback box where the public can submit their questions and concerns. Town of Peace River Communications Coordinator Autumn Hulme says since the launch of the first fact sheet, they’ve received a lot of feedback.

“We had a number of follow-up questions, and we’re actually in the process of drafting our updated version that addresses some of those questions,” says Hulme.  “We’re aiming to have it out early to mid next week.”

Residents of Peace River have been using the feedback box at the bottom of the page here to ask questions about the air ambulance, as well as questions about general town operations. Hulme says the Town plans to use the question and answer format to address questions not only related to the airport, but any question that residents of Peace River would like to ask.

“We like the structure of the question and answer type response, so we’re looking to expand that. We’re still using this as a mechanism to address some of the concerns that have come up specifically related to the airport, but we’re also going to use it as a mechanism to address questions people have about all town operations.”

We can expect the updated airport fact sheet, as well as a feedback section where residents can ask the town questions about general town operations, next week on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
