Rycroft, Alta. – On Aug. 10, 2023, at 8:26 a.m., Spirit River RCMP were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 2 near Township Road 790A. RCMP, EMS and Fire Department attended the scene.
Upon arrival, the female driver, a 17-year-old resident of Dixonville, was located deceased. Two other occupants of the vehicle received minor injuries.
RCMP Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation continues.
Highway 2 has re-opened.
