Due to rising fire danger, a fire ban is now in place for northern and central parts of the Forest Protection Area.
Wood fires are banned on public or private land, including campgrounds and backyards. Propane fire pits and barbeques are still allowed.
Despite the recent spells of rain in the area, officials are still asking residents to adhere to the warnings, and to check on-line for rules and regulations.
