The Town of Valleyview is asking its residents to conserve water.
Town is in an area currently affected by a Level 1 drought, and while it is not yet severe, officials say it is important to start thinking about water conservation.
There are some ways that people can limit their water usage;
– Keep showers short
– Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth
– Fix any leaking taps or toilets
– Water your lawn early in the morning or late in the evening
– Use a broom instead of a hose to clean driveways and sidewalks
– Only run your dishwasher or washing machine when it is full
