- Peace Regional RCMP are looking for another suspect, this time in a stealing from parked vehicles case.
- Peace Regional police have a woman in custody on warrants. This past weekend, patrols located 36 year-old Angelica Rose Cardinal of Grimshaw, at a community event.
- The Peace River Food Bank is holding an auction this week only, with proceeds going to the Food Bank.
- The La Crete Health Center and Community Care Center are now part of Convenant Health.
- Nearly $26,000 has been gifted by Plains Midstream to the High Prairie Fire Department for the purchase of three Starlink communications systems, which include a 5-year paid subscription plan.
- The North Peace Hockey League has released their 2026 regular season schedule. Opening night is Saturday October 18th with three games.
