Peace Regional Police looking for culprits of Break, Enter and Fire

UPDATE

On September 16, 2025 at approximately 1:50 a.m., Peace Regional RCMP responded to a break-and-enter at a business near Highway 986 and the Simon Lake turnoff.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that at least two suspects had broken through the front windows, stolen items, and set the building on fire.

Surveillance footage revealed a white Dodge Caravan with a smashed-out back window covered with plastic or tape and a burnt-out taillight on the driver’s side leaving the scene.

Descriptions:

Male one is described as:

  • Wearing a black hoodie with Oakley logo on the front, a ballcap with a light brim, blue jeans, grey shoes with white soles
  • Thin build

Male two is described as:

  • Wearing a grey hoodie over the head, a headlamp, a blue and white checkered jacket, blue jeans and work boots
  • Medium build

Male three is described as:

  • Wearing a black hoodie with white nike logo, red bandana, black pants with a white logo on the left leg, black and red high top shoes
  • Thin build

The van is described as:

  • White Dodge Caravan, smashed out back window, has a piece of the van hanging under the sliding door on the passenger side

The RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying the vehicle and suspects involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact Peace Regional RCMP.

BACKGROUND

On September 16 2025, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Peace Regional RCMP responded to a break-enter at a business near Highway 986 and the Simon Lake turnoff.

Shortly after, a fire was reported at the same location.

Investigations revealed that at least two people broke through the front windows, stole items, and set building ablaze.

Surveillance footage shows a white Dodge Caravan a smashed rear window covered by plastic or tape and a burnt-out driver’s side taillight at the scene.

RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating this vehicle and identifying the suspects.
