A hockey player from High Level has begun his first season in the WHL.
Logan Lanti plays for the Kamloops Blazers, he says the speed of the game is the biggest thing he’s had to adjust to.
“How much faster it is than minor hockey, that was crazy to me making the jump. Going from being one of the faster guys in my league to one of the slower guys in this league has been a big adjustment for me to make. I’ve got to keep on pushing in the right direction.”
Off the ice, Lanti says his parents have been a major support for him in his career.
“They were always there for me and pushing me. They were like if you want to do it, do it and if you want to move away, you can move away, we’ll support you there. They’ve been super good. They moved down with me, packed up their life and lived apart from each other for a while there. They’ve been nothing but supportive of me.”
