- A 20 year-old from Massachusetts has been given 4 years in prison for breaching the Powerschool education software network, before last Christmas.
Locally, the Peace River School Division, the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division, the Northland School Division and the Fort Vermilion School Division, uses Powerschool. - Police in Red Earth Creek have been busy, as they have three in custody on a B&E, that happened Saturday.
37 year-old Conway Laboucan of Atikameg, 33 year-old Miranda Gladue, and 28 year-old Kayla Cardinal, both of Peace River were charged. - Authorities in Red Earth Creek responded to a fire at a Public Works building in Loon Lake.
The blaze was on Sunday that destroyed the building, and left thousands of dollars in damage. 37 year-old Reba Noskiye of Trout Lake was arrested. - The 3rd annual Art Club Gala takes place at their Studio in downtown Peace River, with many local works being the centerpiece.
