On November 5, 2025, Peace Regional RCMP responded to a report of a truck stolen from an oil site in Northern Sunrise County.
Survey footage shows a black or dark grey small hatchback, missing its front bumper, entering the site.
A passenger, wearing a grey or green toque, yellow sweater, purple bandana over the face, hunting-style jacket, and dark pants, exited the rear seat, entered the parked truck, and drove off as the suspect vehicle departed with its rear door still open.
The stolen truck has since been recovered in connection with another incident.
The RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect and the suspect vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Peace Regional RCMP.
