Residents, business owners, and community partners are being invited to help shape the future of the area economy through a pair of upcoming Economic Development Open Houses hosted by the Town of High Prairie and Big Lakes County.
These interactive forums are designed to gather local input and explore ideas that could strengthen economic growth and long-term prosperity across the region. Organizers say the open houses will provide an opportunity for participants to share their hopes, priorities, and ideas as part of a broader regional economic strategy.
Community members will have two opportunities to take part. The first open house will be held Tonight (Monday, January 12), at 6 p.m. at the Gordon Buchanan Performing Arts Centre in High Prairie. A second session is scheduled for Tomorrow (Tuesday, January 13) at 9:30 a.m. at the Kinuso Senior’s Centre.
According to organizers, feedback gathered during the sessions will help identify economic opportunities, build on local strengths, and inform future planning efforts for both municipalities.
Those involved say community participation is key to ensuring the resulting strategy reflects the needs and vision of the region.
Residents interested in contributing are encouraged to attend one of the open houses and be part of the conversation shaping the region’s economic future.
