Residents of the Peace Region will have an opportunity to learn more about the proposed Peace River Nuclear Power Project at an upcoming community information session hosted by Energy Alberta.
The drop-in event, is the first of Energy Alberta’s planned Peace Region Community Conversations, is designed to help residents better understand the proposed project and what it could mean for the region.
Members of the Energy Alberta team will be on hand to answer questions, provide information, and discuss details of the proposal in an informal setting.
The session takes place tomorrow (Wednesday, January 14), from noon to 3:00 p.m. at J’s Java Domain on main street in Peace River. Residents are welcome to attend at any point during the afternoon.
Organizers say the event is open to anyone seeking more information about the proposed Peace River Nuclear Power Project, whether they are just beginning to learn about it or want to explore the details further. Coffee and treats will be provided.
