The Banff-Jasper-Rocky Mountain and Athabasca-Grande Prairie-Peace River region, encompassing the Peace Country, recorded the province’s lowest unemployment rate at 5.2%.
Red Deer followed at 5.4%, while Lethbridge-Medicine Hat had the highest at 6.9%.
The province added 20,300 jobs, with significant growth in construction, finance, insurance, real estate, and healthcare sectors.
