- Lakeshore Regional Police are searching for a missing person.
43 year-old Junell Twin-Calliou was last seen in Sucker Creek, three weeks ago, but was reported missing last Thursday. - Fairview RCMP executed an arrest warrant last Thursday, and ended up with two, for the price of one.
- Spirit River RCMP are searching for suspects in a large fuel theft at Codesa Fuel, near town.
- Prices at the pumps of the Peace Region may be rising, if they haven’t already.
With the latest conflicts between Iran and the US, and with the price of oil jumping significantly in the past few days, gas prices may be increasing. - Fire officials in Manning are warning the public of Controlled burns in the area, weather permitting.
A burn of brush piles is happening today, near Manning Aurora Composite School. - First Nations Chiefs have voted non-confidence in the Provincial Government.
The Assembly of Treaty Chiefs, which includes Treaty 8 in the Northwest, say that the Government has failed to meet the requirements of democratic oversight and a transparent legislative process. - A popular charity hockey game in Peace River is coming back for another year.

- NPHL playoffs tonight… Games 4 Manning is in Grande Prairie, with the Comets up 3-0. Dawson Creek is in Spirit River, with the Rangers up 2-1.
- Five Canadian teams are in action, as part of an 11-game NHL schedule tonight.
Ottawa is in Edmonton, Dallas is in Calgary, Chicago is in Winnipeg, and Montreal is in San Jose. - More snow is in the forecast for this afternoon in the Northwest. The Peace and Big Lakes will get another 5-10 cm, while chilly temperatures stick around in the Mackenzie.
However, things will clear out and warm up by the weekend.
