Trial dates have been set in connection to a 2024 homicide at Gift Lake Métis Settlement.
Alberta Justice says Dakota Auger will stand trial from May 3rd to 21st, 2027, in Peace River Court of King’s Bench. Auger faces a charge of second-degree murder in the death of 41-year-old Bradley Lamouche.
High Prairie RCMP say officers were called around 2 a.m. on August 23rd, 2024, after reports of an unresponsive man inside a vehicle. Lamouche was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is expected to return to court as proceedings move forward toward trial.
