Reactions have come from the Town of McLennan on the announcement of the closing of Ecole Providence.

Low student enrolment and financial pressures are the primary reasons from the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division, for the closure.
The Peace River School Division is moving to Plan B, after the provincial government cancelled the current tendered project to build a new school in Red Earth Creek.
The Infrastructure Ministry cited the lowest bids and tender packages were over budget, so the Division is working on transitioning to a design-build model for the facility.
The Division says this plan delays completion of the project by nine months.
RCMP have 27 year-old Lane Johnson Laboucan of Fox Lake in custody on firearms complaints.
Late last month, police received a report of a home being shot at, with no injuries taking place. Laboucan is in court tomorrow.
