Energy is taking centre stage in the Peace Region this week as the Peace Region Energy Show gets underway at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie.
More than 400 exhibitors are on site both indoors and outdoors, showcasing developments and discussions around a wide range of energy projects and technologies.
Show Manager and Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Wendy Bosch-Thomas says the event brings together industry leaders, businesses, and community members to talk about the future of energy in the region.
Topics expected to generate discussion include the proposed nuclear project in Peace River and other emerging energy opportunities.
The show runs until 7 tonight, and continues tomorrow from 10 until 4.
