Peace River is getting a colourful makeover as Elevate Murals and the Peace River Art Hub continue transforming buildings with large-scale public artwork.
Their newest mural, now complete on the side of the FYI Doctors and Fitness on the Go building downtown, celebrates the community’s history and culture.
Artist Lana Vassallo says the murals have generated strong public interest, with growing enthusiasm for future projects throughout the town.
Her daughter, Elizabeth Vassallo, says working alongside the Art Hub has made the experience especially rewarding, adding that seeing residents connect with the finished artwork makes all the effort worthwhile
The pair hope the murals continue bringing colour, creativity and community pride to Peace River.
