The Dixonville community is preparing to celebrate a major milestone later this month with the grand opening of the new Dixonville Rural Academy.
The event takes place Saturday, August 29, from 1 until 4 p.m., and is hosted by the Dixonville Charter School Society and Dixonville Rural Academy.
The afternoon will feature welcoming remarks, guest speakers, and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the new school, meet teachers, and explore classrooms serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Organizers say the celebration marks an exciting new chapter for education in the community and invite residents to come out and take part in the festivities.
