The Battle River Ag Society is getting started with their accessibility work on the grounds in Manning.
Procedures helped with their second place finish in the Growing Home with BASF promotion, thus the Society receiving $10,000 for the purpose.
In between times, the Society has also had local organizations step up with donations and in-kind work to help with the renos.
The Society has been established since the end of World War 2, and has been a very popular destination for the summer rodeo, plus other functions that happen during the year.
Ag. Society members hope that the future renovations that are getting started, will add life to the history of the Northwest.
