Registration Now Open for Western Canadian Soil Health & Grazing Conference

The Western Canada Conference on Soil Health and Grazing is coming up in a couple of months.

It’s set to take place from December 5 to 7, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel in south Edmonton. And registration for the event is now open.

The conference is set to include a wealth of information for crop producers, ranchers, and mixed farm operations, with topics including soil health, biodiversity, and increased biological activity.

It’ll also talk about integrating plant diversity, keeping the soil covered, maintaining living roots, and minimally disturbing the soil leads to greater infiltration and water holding capacity, reduced crop inputs, and provides a number of environmental and social benefits.

The theme for this year is “Profit Above & Wealth Below.” Speakers include Gabe Brown, Ray Archuleta, Doctors Yamily Zavala and Richard Teague, as well as other top soil health researchers and practitioners.

This is the first time that the Soil Health and Grazing conferences have been rolled up into one event.

Registration details can be found at http://www.absoilgrazing.com, or by contacting Nora Paulovich at nora@npara.ca.

The event’s being sponsored by a variety of organizations, including North Peace Applied Research, as well as the Peace Country Beef & Forage Associations.
