A recall of 61-thousand dishwashers has been issued by Health Canada.
Multiple news reports say that each unit poses the risk of a potential fire hazard.

Each one was sold between January 2013 and May 2014, and includes a variety of different brands, including for Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Kenmore and Jenn-Air.
The reports say that each one features power cords that can overhead, posing a potential fire hazard.
BSH Home Appliances, which manufactures each of the dishwashers, have so far received no reports of property damage in Canada. But in the United States, five incidents have been reported.
But so far, there have been no reports of injuries.

Anyone who happens to have one of the recalled dishwashers is advised to stop using it immediately, and call the Safety Recall Hotline at 1-888-965-5813 from 6 AM to 6 PM for a free inspection and repair.
