Alberta Health Services is now tracking an outbreak at a continuing-care home in McLennan.
Two cases of COVID-19 were confirmed at the Minoir du Lac Retirement Home, which are the first two cases of the virus confirmed at the residence.
A confirmed outbreak is when one-or-more residents or staff test positive for COVID-19.
In her daily update, Chief Medical Officer of Health, Doctor Deena Hinshaw confirmed a death in the Northern Zone but did not say where that was.
