
Yesterday, the province announced fire bans in most area of the province had been downgraded to advisories.
The only exceptions were the counties of: Saddle Hills, Clear Hills, Birch Hills, the County of Grande Prairie, and the Municipal District of Fairview #136.
With the exception of the MD of Fairview and Birch Hills County, the other districts are now under a fire advisory.
The County of Grande Prairie was under a ban but officials say that was lifted this afternoon.
The MD of Fairview and Birch Hills remains under a fire restriction.
The rest of the Peace and Mackenzie regions are under the fire advisory category.
