Fairview’s Health Complex will be without its emergency department on Monday, June 28, from 7 p.m. til 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 29.

Nursing staff will continue to be at the complex in the emergency department to provide triage and medical assessments.

Nurses will refer patients to surrounding emergency departments if needed.

Anyone requiring more urgent medical attention is urged to call 9-1-1 still.

Calls to EMS will be re-routed to the closest available facility.

Patients could be re-routed to Grimshaw/Berwyn, Spirit River, and Grande Prairie.

This is the third time since May 11, 2021 there has been a temporary closure of emergency services in Fairview.

Residents are reminded to call Health Link at 8-1-1 for non-emergency, health related questions.
