It’s a new life-saving device for the pet of the family.
The High Level Fire Department has acquired oxygen masks, specially fitted for animals.
The supplier is Invisible Fence Brand based in the US, makers of a number of pet-related safety products.
The pet oxygen kit includes small, medium and large pet masks.
The Department applied for the donation, and is now part of the Main Engine’s equipment.
Fire Chief Rodney Schmidt talks about the application, how useful the equipment could be, and saying that “Pets are People too.”
