Desmarais RCMP investigate Fatal rollover
Wabasca, Alta. – On Oct. 29, 2022, at 6:23 a.m., Desmarais RCMP received a report of a serious injury motor vehicle collision on Mistassiniy Road near Wabasca. Upon arrival, emergency crews tended to the 5 vehicle occupants. Unfortunately, a passenger, a 16-year-old resident of Wabasca, was found deceased at the scene. The other 4 vehicle occupants were transported to hospital with various injuries. One Passenger remains in serious condition.
RCMP remained on scene for several hours while an collision analyst attended the scene.
Desmarais RCMP continue to investigate the circumstances of this tragic incident.
