Spirit River RCMP on scene at fatal collision –Update
Spirt River, Alta. – On Apri1 11, 2023, at 4:48 a.m., Spirit River RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision on Highway 2 between Township Road 750 and Township Road 760 near Webster. Initial investigation has indicated that a passenger car had a head on collision with a Vacuum truck. Unfortunately, the driver and lone occupant of the car, identified as a 20-year-old male resident of Grande Prairie, was deceased at the scene. One of the two occupants of the Vacuum truck was taken to hospital with serious non-life-threatening inquires. The other occupant of the truck was uninjured.
RCMP remained on-scene for several hours while a collision analyst attended the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances around this collision continues.

Spirt River, Alta. – Spirt River RCMP are currently on scene at a fatal collision involving two vehicles on Highway 2 between Township Road 750 and Township Road 760 near Webster.
RCMP are asking that drivers avoid the area and use alternate routes. RCMP are remaining on scene while an RCMP Collision Analyst assisted with the investigation.
Expect delays for some time. An update will be sent when more information becomes available.
