Peace and Mackenzie area Food Banks are receiving grant money from the Provincial Government
Half of the $20 million dollars announced in November, have gone out.
- Fairview Food Bank Association – $15,000
- High Level Native Friendship Centre Food Bank – $8,000
- High Prairie & District Food Bank Society – $8,000
- Manning and Area Food Bank Society – $8,000
- Peace River Family Services – $15,000
Meanwhile, Food Security Grants have gone out to various organizations.
- E.E. Oliver Family School Liaison Program (PRSD #10) – $19,200
- Interfaith Valleyview Community Food Bank Society – $50,000
- North Peace Youth Support Association (Fairview) – $9,843
As well, a Donation Matching Grant has been applied to, on top of the funding grants.

- High Level Native Friendship Centre Food Bank – $18,752
- High Prairie & District Food Bank Society – $22,897
- Interfaith Valleyview Community Food Bank Society – $29,884
