Golf season is here and we’re going to be taking a closer look at courses from around the region.
At the Heart River Golf Club in Nampa, Superintendent Mark Morin says golfers will be challenged in a lot of aspects in their game.
“We take pride in the fact that the holes have a lot of scenery and there’s a lot of angulations on the fairways and greens alike. There’s challenge to all parts of your game so you’re probably going to need every club in your bag. Bring your A-game.”
He says hole number 8 is their most popular one.
“You’ve got elevated tee boxes and when you’re looking down over the valley, you can see holes that you’ve just recently played in numbers 6 and 3. From that vantage point, you can see a large portion of the valley and the scenic part of what the layout is actually like so it looks good. We get a lot of comments on that hole.”
