
For the first time in ten years, the Peace River Stampeders are the Wheatbelt Baseball League Champions.
The stamps wrapped up a three game sweep of the Rycroft Rage with a 7-3 win in front of a large crowd at Misery Mountain tonight.
A 5-run 4th inning was the big difference in the victory.

Game Rundown:
1st Inning
Rycroft scored one in the top of the first after a two out error with none on extended the inning.
Stamps were held off the board after a great catch by Kai Reum in deep left centre.

Tyrese Goram came up in the bottom of the second with bases loaded and two outs.
Another Tremendous catch by Kai Reum on a fly ball deep into centre field.

The Stamps got two on base with one out.
Shaun Hill stole third.
Mitch Cook stole second.
Both scored on a double by Aron Wiebe down the right field line.

For the second time in the game Justin Olson made a fantastic swipe tag at first on a throw that pulled him off the bag.
Stamps loaded the bases on a hit batter, and immediately scored a run on a second hit batter the very next pitch.
