  • The Town of Peace River is making changes to the Taxi Pass Program, and one suggestion is raising the cost per trip from 75 cents to $1.75 by 2027.

  • The Town of Valleyview has put the call out for members at large to serve on many different boards and commissions (Friday Deadline).

  • The High Level Fire Department now has 4 Wildland Skid Units, which turn a pick-up truck into a fire truck.
    One has been transferred to Rainbow Lake for the season, and one was pressed into duty for the fires in the Northwest Territories.
  • Colder than normal temperatures continue for the rest of the week.
    Staying below zero during the day, when the average this time of the year is around +5.
  • Snowfall Warnings continue South of Edmonton.
