People in Mackenzie County went to the polls yesterday in a by-election.
It was to fill the vacent seat in Ward 9 which is for the rural areas around High Level and Rainbow Lake.
The unofficial results have Eileen Morris as the winner with 115 votes, William Auger finished in second with 46 votes.
