Earl Pereira is best known as a co-founder of the JUNO nominated group Wide Mouth Mason, though since leaving the band he formed The Steadies, and he will be a mentor for the SongRise Music Conference. The Songrise Music Confreence is two days of music business learning, networking, songwriting, and performance. It is a conference for songwriters, musicians, singers, lyricists wanting to expand and explore the process of songwriting, recording, and the business of the music industry. with ALL levels, abilities and genres welcome.
I caught up with Earl to discuss the upcoming event taking place October 4 & 5th in Fairview, as we got his take on where his abilities as a songwriter would be if he had a conference like this back when he was starting out, as well as how he became involved with it.
