Episode 1 of Anne Shirley just dropped and it looks delightful. Was this what I was expecting to see this week …no but I am delightfully surprised.
The original Anne of Green Gables novel, published in 1908, tells the story of Anne Shirley, an orphan in Prince Edward Island. In Canada I feel like everyone has heard of Anne of Green Gables but I didn’t realize that it got a Japanese translation in 1952. Since then it has also been beloved and has had a few adaptations with Anne Shirley being the most recent.
The series is set to run 24 episodes and follows the early events in Anne’s Life. Will you be Checking it out?
