The Town of High Level is advancing its housing initiatives with the “Expanding Housing Opportunities in Level” project.

This $400,000 endeavor is funded equally by a $200,000 grant from Alberta’s Northern Regional Economic Development program and matching funds from the town.

The project aims to develop 225 acres of residential land, creating up to 120 new parcels.

Mayor Crystal McAteer highlighted the project’s significance for local families, emphasizing its role in providing stability and opportunity.

The plan includes diverse housing options and essential infrastructure, with completion expected by May 2026.
