The Hutton Creek Fire east of Deadwood, is now classified as Being Held.
The fire started last week as a prescribed burn, but escaped containment, due to unexpected wind gusts.
Even though there was no threat to communities and infrastructure, crews were able to gain the upper-hand very quickly.
Meanwhile, Fire bans are starting to blanket Northwestern Alberta, as the heart of Wildfire season continues.
Much of the region is under the Ban, except for a few pockets of land, where restrictions are still in place.
