The Manning community recently came together to raise $3,500 for Haying in the 30’s, a volunteer-run organization that provides financial support to families battling cancer.
Every dollar raised goes directly to helping those in need.
The event featured delicious burgers from Jack Knife Creek, a BBQ hosted by West Fraser, and our dedicated BBQ’rs who grilled up hotdogs and burgers.
Helpers ensured everything ran smoothly, while local businesses contributed with games, sales, and more.
Musicians Vic, Robert, the Chicks, and Cassie Vreeling provided entertainment, and clown Tyson kept the kids laughing.
FCSS offered sweet treats and activities, the Del Air Lodge ladies hosted Bingo in the Legion Hall, and Alberta North Financial Services Ltd held their popular chili cookoff.
The Town of Manning crew facilitated the event by blocking off the road and providing picnic tables.
This event showcased the community spirit that makes Manning so special.
