A new chapter in health care is beginning in northern Alberta, as Covenant Health officially welcomes the La Crete Community Health Centre and Continuing Care Centre into its network.
To mark the transition, a special community celebration will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, starting with a sign unveiling ceremony at 10:30 a.m. at the entrance of the health centre.
Following the unveiling, a welcome barbeque will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy food, hear from Covenant Health leadership and special guests, and connect with staff, residents, and families.
