Halloween arrived early in Manning, as the County of Northern Lights hosted its annual Giant Pumpkin Contest on September 25 at the Manning Legion Hall.
George Stahl claimed first place with a 65-pound pumpkin, followed closely by Lydia Stahl’s 61-pound entry and Mark Masse’s 55-pound pumpkin.
Henry Stone took home the prize for the most unusual pumpkin.
As the fall season unfolds, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a pumpkin-spiced latte alongside a slice of pumpkin pie.
