On October 26, 2025, Peace Regional RCMP responded to reports of a tire slashing and attempted vehicle ramming the Simon Lake area.
Upon arrival, officers determined that 20-year-old Kendra Auger of Cadotte Lake had attempted to ram vehicles, struck a residence with a vehicle, and slashed the tires another vehicle.
Auger was later located and charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of mischief under $5,000, and failure to stop after an accident.
She also received violation tickets for driving while suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle on the highway.
After appearing before a Justice of the Peace, Auger was released with a court date set for November 10, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River.
The Peace Regional RCMP extend their gratitude to community members for their assistance and are seeking further information related to this incident.
