The Government of Alberta is inviting residents to participate in the 2026 consultation process. Albert can share their fiscal priorities through an online survey available until January 15, 2026.
Additionally, a telephone town hall with Finance Minister Nate Horner is scheduled for December 9, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
Participants can join by visiting the budget consultation website at the start of the event.
Minister Horner emphasized the importance of public input, stating, “We want to hear from Albertans across the province Alberta’s government is working hard to create a budget that makes practical fiscal decisions and spends taxpayer dollars wisely. Our goal is to support Albertans’ priorities and meet the needs of our growing province.”
The annual budget must be released before the end of February each year.
